Things to Do on Bainbridge Island

There’s no shortage of things to do on Bainbridge Island, whether you’re looking for outdoor adventures or cultural experiences. Here are a few of the most popular activities on the island:

Hiking:

Bainbridge Island is home to several miles of hiking trails, including the popular Grand Forest and Battle Point Park trails. These trails offer stunning views of the island’s natural beauty and are a great way to get some exercise.

Beaches:

Bainbridge Island has several beautiful beaches, including Fay Bainbridge Park and Blakely Harbor Park. These beaches are popular spots for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking.

Art Galleries:

Bainbridge Island has a thriving arts scene, and there are several art galleries and studios on the island. The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is a must-visit for art lovers, and there are several annual arts events, including the Bainbridge Island Studio Tour and the Bainbridge Island Quilt Festival.

Bloedel Reserve:

Bloedel Reserve is a 140 acre wonder of nature, created by the imagination, vision, and a passionate love of the natural world shared by the founders, Prentice and Virginia Bloedel. Working with the rugged geography of the land, they artfully transformed a rough-hewn Northwest forest into a harmonious series of curated gardens, structural features, and distinctive landscapes, with nature as canvas and paint.

Shopping:

If you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, Winslow has plenty of shops to choose from. The Winslow Way shopping district is home to several boutiques, gift shops, and specialty stores, and there are also several grocery stores and pharmacies in the area. Visit Bainbridge Island Downtown Association for more information on shopping, dining and more!
